Frozen Smoothie Pops: Delicious DIY popsicles

frozen smoothie pops with banana, mango and berries

These frozen smoothie pops were originally inspired by my eldest child who is anaphylactic to milk and milk byproducts. Many of the dessert options out there for her were filled with so much sugar. We started making frozen smoothie pops which are thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family. They are a healthy alternative but most importantly, the kiddos are eating their fruits with no fuss!

Yields 6 popsicles
Ingredients:
  • Banana, 2 medium
  • Mango, 1 large
  • Blueberry, 1/2 cup
  • Strawberry, 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla Almond Milk, 1/2 cup
  • Raspberry Soy Yogurt, 1/2 cup (Soy yogurt is our children’s dairy free yogurt of choice but feel free to swap this for your favourite yogurt).
What you’ll need:
What to do:

Peel and cut the banana and mango. Put the pieces directly into the nutribullet blender cup. Wash the berries. Remove green stems from the strawberries and halve. Add all berries into the blender cup. Pour in the almond milk and soy yogurt.

Blend all the ingredients together until smooth. Pour the smoothie into the popsicle moulds. Let freeze overnight. When you are ready to enjoy these delicious smoothie pops, remove from freezer and let stand for a couple minutes so they are easier to remove from the moulds.
